Celebrating 75 years of independence, News18 arranged the 'Amrit Ratna' Samman to celebrate those who have made significant contributions to India's development via their pioneering achievements. The renowned honor was presented in a magnificent event at New Delhi's Taj Palace. The channel's goal is to make the Amrit Ratna Samman a yearly celebration of the achievements of Indian heroes from many disciplines who have made the country proud, as well as an opportunity to convey the nation's thanks to these stalwarts.

The presence of Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, who reviewed several initiatives implemented during his tenure, enlivened the occasion. "When Modi Ji gave me the duty, it was an emotional occasion for me because my father had also held this post earlier," he explained.

We are on track to provide our citizens with two new airlines, one of which will be completely redesigned. Speaking on the technical fault in the planes, Scindia said that strict action has been taken against those. We are strengthening our monitoring mechanism giving more emphasis on safety measures. For the Ministry of Civil Aviation, the safety of passengers is paramount. Under the UDAN scheme, two lakh flights took off and many people got a chance to travel, who never traveled in an airplane.

When asked about the present Congress turmoil, Scindia declined to respond. He stated that he will only discuss his current and future. Congress will have to consider why it is becoming weak.
