Unplugged & Reconnected: A Soulful Day at The Aryavart Escape, Panshet

There are places that don’t just offer a break — they reset you.
Today, I found one of them: The Aryavart Escape, quietly nestled in the lush hills of Panshet, Maharashtra.

Just a couple of hours from Pune, the drive itself feels like a transition — from rush to rhythm, from noise to nature. By the time I reached Aryavart, the chaos of the city had faded behind me, replaced by cool winds and the serene hum of the valley.

Set against the calm waters of the Panshet Dam, Aryavart isn’t just a stay — it’s an experience in stillness. Wooden cabins with earthy tones, large windows that invite the mountains in, and a kind of quiet that makes you slow down — whether you want to or not.

The morning greeted me with birdsong and mist. I stepped out barefoot onto the grass, warm chai in hand, watching the first rays touch the hills. Breakfast was simple and fresh — local poha, fruits from their orchard, and conversations with strangers who smiled like they, too, had found something they didn’t know they were missing.

I didn’t plan my day — Aryavart doesn’t ask you to. I wandered through trees, journaled by the lakeside, lay under a banyan tree, and read from a shelf filled with books on mindfulness and simplicity. For once, doing nothing felt like doing everything right.

As evening arrived, the sky turned lavender and the bonfire came alive. We sat around it — guests, hosts, and fireflies — sharing travel tales, music, and laughter. There were no screens. No scroll. Just presence.

The Aryavart Escape isn’t loud about its beauty — it whispers it.
If you need a space to breathe, reflect, and remember what it feels like to just be, this place is waiting — quietly, patiently, perfectly.
